A gig, new singles, and more to come

Well well well, where to start. Big thanks to everybody who came to our gig at Coney Island Baby. Big thanks to Pete Cenedella for letting us open for his rockin’ Rock and Soul Revue. Check out some pictures here. And thanks to my old friend Vinnie Grosso for taking all the pictures.

We’ve now released two new singles, I Thought We Had a Deal and How the Other Half Live (I seem to be partial to long song titles). You can find some links to them here.

Our very very excellent (in my opinion) video is out! Here’s a screen shot and link:

The fantastic animation was done by the multi-talented Dana Schechter, and much of the artwork as well as the eerily realistic graffiti and “wheat paste” poster stuff was done by the magical Andrew Nelson. Cityscape photographs were by the aforementioned, redoubtable Vinnie Grosso.

Speaking of radio, we are starting to get played on some stations around the country — for example WBSD in Burlington, WI; WFIV in Knoxville, TN; and WYSO in Dayton, OH. Feel free to call up your local alternative rock station and request Run Run by Storytown. Kickin’ it old school!

Finally, I want to give you a head’s up that we are planning a very interesting and atypical album launch event on January 17, 2019, at Caveat NYC, itself a very interesting and atypical venue located on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. We’re going to combine story-telling (music in NYC) with live performances of songs from our upcoming album Welcome to Storytown. Mark your calendars, and watch this space for more details as we get closer.

As always, thanks for listening.
